file created with a drawing software (e.g. AutoCAD®, CorelDraw®,
AdobeIllustrator®, etc.) according to our guidelines.
You simply upload your file into www.CUTASHAPE.com and choose the material.
We will check your file, transform it and automatically quote
you a price. It takes you only a few seconds to get there! Pay via wire transfer, PayPal of credit
card. It's fast, easy and reliable. |

| After you have created the .DXF file of the part
proceed as follows: |

Upload your file into www.cutashape.com. Don't forget to select
the scale you used in your drawing from the drop-down menu. |

Check for accuracy and choose material and quantity. Now the part will be displayed on your computer the same way the cutting machine will see it. For viewing you need the free Adobe® SVG Viewer installed on your computer. At this step you should control for accuracy and choose the material (and), thickness, as well as quantity you need. The price will adjust automatically. If your part is bigger than the sheets on stock the part dimension will be displayed in red. In case you chose 'custom material' from the drop-down list a text box will appear where you can describe your custom material. In these cases CUTASHAPE will not be able to provide you automatically with a price for your order. Our customer service will contact you via email with a price quote and prospective shipment date. Check your cart. At this Step you should edit or review the content of your cart. You can return to Step 1 and add a new part |

Enter your name and billing address. If your
shipping address is not the same as the billing address, please unmark
the checkbox and fill the form and add a promotion code (if
applicable). Here you may choose from 2 options for payment: a. Wire Transfer - your order will be saved and we will wait until your transfer arrives to start the order execution b. PayPal/Credit Card - you will be redirected to PayPal's website where you can choose whether you pay by credit card or PayPal account. To complete your order press the button. Upon payment receipt your order will be processed. We will ship with DPD, FedEx and other courier services worldwide. |

| What is CUTASHAPE? |
CUTASHAPE allows our customers to cut their own geometries from any available sheet material. It is designed to be used by anyone who needs custom made 2D elements. This service has been successfully used by architects, designers, engineers, modelers and others. |

| How does it work? |
It's easy! You need to create a .DXF (Drawing eXchange Format) file of the geometry you need and submit it on
www.cutashape.com, select the material you want and place an order. Then your details will be shipped to you. If you can't draw a
.DXF file you may use the DrawMyShape service. |

| How do I draw a shape? |
You need software able to export to a .DXF file. Almost any CAD (Computer Aided Design) and drawing software can read and write
.DXF files. The most popular ones are CorelDraw®, Adobe Illustrator®, AutoCAD®,
IntelliCAD®, Rhinoceros®, QCAD, ArchiCAD®, Microstation®, MAYA®,
ProEngineer®, CATIA® or the freeware A9CAD. Drawing a 2D shape is slightly different in each program so please refer to the software manual for detailed information. |

| What is a .DXF file format? | The Drawing eXchange Format developed by AutoDesk® is a vector graphics format supported by almost all CAD systems and most 2D graphics software products. |
||||
| Which .DXF objects can be read? | The following 2D entities can be read LINE, POLYLINE, LWPOLYLINE, ARC, SPLINE, CIRCLE, ELLIPSE, BLOCK All other entities as well as Z-Coordinates will be ignored. |

| What are the requirements for drawing a .DXF file? Do you have guidelines? |
Here are some basic rules: - Use following 2D entities LINE, POLYLINE, LWPOLYLINE, ARC, SPLINE, CIRCLE, ELLIPSE, BLOCK; - In one .DXF file all parts that have to be cut out from the same sheet material; - Please draw only the parts you need. No frames, scales etc. Please remember: everything drawn will be cut! - All linetypes will be read as "CONTINUOUS" ; - If you need the same part several times you may duplicate it as often as needed it in the same .DXF file; - If you order several parts in one .DXF file the distance between the single parts should not exceed 15mm; - If you would like to cut letters, you should represent them as Lines/Polylines/SPLines and not as text; - You may draw in millimeter, centimeter or inches but we recommend millimeter. At step one when selecting your .DXF file you have to select the drawing unit as well. At step 2 you will be able to see the size of your part. The scale in step 2 is in mm. |

What are the System Requirements to use CUTASHAPE? |
You need a basic computer configuration with Internet Explorer® 6.0 (or later) with a SVG Viewer plug-in. Our service requires that you have "cookies" enabled on your web browser. |

| What is SVG? |
Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) is a new graphics file format and Web development language based on XML. SVG enables Web developers and designers to create dynamically generated, high-quality graphics from real-time data with precise structural and visual control. |

| Is the SVG Viewer plug-in absolutely required for the use of the CUTASHAPE service? | Yes. A SVG viewer plug-in is absolutely required for the use of
the CUTASHAPE service since it properly displays vector graphics and
has a zoom-in function allowing our customer to check the output
with great precision. |

| May I use other browsers apart from Internet Explorer, e.g. Opera, Netscape, Mozilla? |
No. This site can be fully used only with Internet Explorer since it is the only browser
that allows a SVG viewer to be installed. |
||||
| What Materials and what thickness can I cut with CUTASHAPE.COM? | There is a list of standard materials and sheet thickness we have
on stock listed in a drop box on our web page. |

The Material/thickness I need is not listed. Can you cut Custom Materials? |
Yes. In general, almost all materials can be processed by CUTASHAPE. From the Materials drop-box on STEP 2 choose 'custom material' which appears at the bottom of the list. A text box will appear where you can describe your custom material. In this case CUTASHAPE will not be able to provide you automatically with a price and time for delivery for your order. Our customer service will get in touch with you as soon as we can provide you with this information. Then it will be up to you to decide whether you will accept the order or not. |

| Is it possible to use your service to engrave or to combine engraving and cutting? |
Not yet. We are working on it. |

|
What is the maximum detail size you can cut? |
This depends on the material you select for there are different sheet sizes available for every material. CUTASHAPE performs a check for the maximum detail sizes you select as soon as you specify the material for the part. |

| I have some material at home/office/factory. Can you cut the shape out of it? |
Please contact us via email and describe exactly the material you have and the shape you need - our technical support will contact you as soon as possible. |

| What technology is used in for cutting the shapes? |
Currently we use Laser-cutting. Waterjet, abrasivjet, 2D-milling, wire-erosion and plasma-cutting are coming soon. |

| How can I reduce the cutting costs? |
Reduce the cutting length. If you reduce the number of the materials set-up costs will decrease. In general, cutting of plastics and wood is less expensive than cutting metal sheets; cutting thin materials is less expensive than cutting thick ones. If you need many parts out of the same material draw them all in one file and order them in a way they fit on a smaller area instead of uploading them one by one. |

| Is there a loss of accuracy because of the cutting width? |
Yes, the cutting width for the different materials varies linear between 0,1mm (for 0,5mm sheet material) and 0,4mm (for 15mm). CUTASHAPE is providing the cutting centered on the drawn line, so you lose half of the cutting width on both sides of the drawn contours. If you need a higher accuracy, please consider that and draw outer contours bigger and inner contours smaller with half the cutting width (offset the contours). |

| How do I pay? |
We accept payment via wire transfer, PayPal and all major credit cards. Your order will be processed immediately upon payment receipt. The average processing time varies between 1 and 3 days. The prospective shipment date will be present on your order confirmation. CUTASHAPE would ship with regular mail and major currier services (FedEx, EMS, UPS, DPD etc.) to deliver it's products. Our total price includes tax, shipment and handling. |

You further agree to defend, at your sole expense, any claim, suit, or proceeding brought against CUTASHAPE in relation to your order, for infringement or wrongful use of any intellectual property right of any third party, provided that CUTASHAPE gives you written notice of any such claim and provides you such reasonable cooperation and assistance as you may require in the defense thereof. You shall pay any damages and costs assessed against CUTASHAPE pursuant to such a suit or proceeding. Reverse engineering is strictly prohibited. When you register at CUTASHAPE, your password and client number will be e-mailed to you. You may change your password anytime by entering myCutashape. |

| Description of Service | CUTASHAPE
allows customers to cut their own geometries (custom made 2D
elements) from any available sheet material displayed on the site.
You need to create a DXF (Drawing eXchange Format) file of the
geometry you need, submit it to CUTASHAPE, select the material you
want and place an order. |

| Placement of Orders | After
your order has been received by CUTASHAPE, an order confirmation
including a date, reference number, type of shipment and price will
be sent to your e-mail address. No customer order shall be binding
on CUTASHAPE, unless confirmed by CUTASHAPE. Every change in the
order details will be confirmed to you by a new order confirmation. If you do not receive an order confirmation within the 2 hours following the receipt of your order by CUTASHAPE, please contact us. It is within the discretion of CUTASHAPE to request additional information about the order. CUTASHAPE shall also be authorized to reject an order at its sole discretion, without further explanation. Customer orders are kept by CUTASHAPE for a period of at least 3 months after the day of shipment. |

| Payment and Delivery | Payments
shall be made via PayPal, credit card or wire transfer. If using a
wire transfer customers should include the order number. Upon payment receipt a payment confirmation will be sent to your e-mail account stating the shipment date. After payment receipt orders are not changeable, not refundable and cannot be canceled. To deliver its products CUTASHAPE uses major courier services. The delivery date on the payment confirmation is for orientation purposes only and is not guaranteed by CUTASHAPE. The term for accomplishment of an order is calculated in working days in Austria and commences as from the day of payment receipt. Since CUTASHAPE's products are custom made, CUTASHAPE does not accept returns. |

| Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability | CUTASHAPE provides its services “as
is” and all express, implied and statutory warranties, including,
without limitation, the warranties of fitness for a particular
purpose and non-infringement of proprietary rights, are expressly
disclaimed to the fullest extent permitted by the law. To the
fullest extent permitted by the law CUTASHAPE disclaims any
warranties for the security, reliability, timeliness and performance
of the services. You expressly understand and agree that under no circumstances shall CUTASHAPE be held liable for a delay or a failure in the product delivery, which is due to the fault of: (a) The shipper; (b) The customer, such as the provision of incorrect shipping information, without limitation. CUTASHAPE shall not be liable for losses or damages suffered by the customer or its company as a result of using the Adobe SVG Viewer or any other software for the purposes of the order placement. The liability of CUTASHAPE for product defects, delay or non-performance of a service due to the fault of CUTASHAPE shall in any case be limited to the less of the cost of the respective detail (element) and the sum of EUR 1000. Such liability shall be limited only to the losses and damages occurring as a direct result of the respective service/delay/non-performance. This claim shall expire one month after product delivery or the due date of such delivery, as the case may be. CUTASHAPE does not assume any liability in cases where sending of e-mail has become impossible due to technical reasons or otherwise. CUTASHAPE assumes no liability for the legality of the order contents, which shall be the sole responsibility of the customer. CUTASHAPE shall not be held responsible for any losses or damages suffered from the customer or third parties resulting from the use of the CUTASHAPE products or services. In cases of direct or indirect links to external Internet sites that are not within the area of responsibility of CUTASHAPE, the content of these external Web pages is not adopted by CUTASHAPE as its own. CUTASHAPE expressly declares that at the time of inclusion of the relevant links on the CUTASHAPE Web pages the corresponding linked pages were free of illegal contents. regulated by these TOS. Any disputes arising between the parties
